Engineered on Symfony rather than a CMS like WordPress to support a complex, scalable directory structure, the platform takes a search-first approach, with a flexible page system that handles a growing footprint of suburbs, regions, and service categories without losing consistency or usability.

The challenge was to design and develop a website that could support a large, scalable directory while remaining easy to use for a broad audience. At its core, the platform needed to balance two key priorities: strong search visibility and a straightforward user experience. Users arriving on the site typically have a clear intent, whether it is finding dog boarding in a specific suburb or comparing nearby pet sitters, so the experience needed to be immediate and intuitive.

What We Did
