Approached as a complete repositioning rather than a visual redesign, the custom WordPress site uses a refined palette, considered typography, and generous spacing to balance medical authority with approachability, with clearly structured service categories that guide patients gently through facial, breast, body, and reconstructive procedures.

Panthea Clinics is a leading Australian cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery practice, led by renowned surgeon Dr Ross Farhadieh. With a reputation built on clinical excellence, precision and patient care, Panthea offers a wide range of procedures across facial surgery, breast surgery, body contouring and reconstructive treatments. What sets the clinic apart is its ability to combine world-class surgical expertise with a deeply considered, patient-first approach that prioritises education, safety and long-term outcomes.

Panthea Clinics needed a website that truly reflected the calibre of their work and the reputation they had built in a highly competitive and sensitive industry. Their existing presence did not fully communicate the level of expertise, care and professionalism that defines the practice. In a space where trust is critical, the first impression needed to feel reassuring, credible and refined.

At the same time, the clinic offers a broad and complex range of procedures. Structuring this information in a way that felt clear and intuitive for users was a key challenge. Many patients arrive at a cosmetic surgery website feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, so the experience needed to guide them gently rather than confront them with too much information at once.

There was also a strong need to balance two distinct tones. The site had to feel medically authoritative and grounded, while still being approachable and human. Lean too far in either direction and the experience risks becoming either intimidating or overly commercial. Getting this balance right was central to the project.

Finally, the website needed to support real business outcomes. Increasing consultation enquiries, improving the quality of patient leads, and providing a strong foundation for ongoing content growth and SEO were all important objectives.

What we did

We approached the project as a complete repositioning exercise, not just a visual redesign. From the outset, the focus was on creating a calm, premium digital experience that builds trust from the very first interaction. The design direction leans on restraint, with a refined colour palette, carefully selected typography and generous spacing to create a sense of clarity and confidence.

A key part of the solution was simplifying the way Panthea’s services are presented. We structured the site into clear, logical categories, allowing users to quickly navigate between facial, breast, body and reconstructive procedures. This helped transform what could have been an overwhelming amount of information into a guided, easy-to-understand journey.

We also placed a strong emphasis on content strategy. Educational material, procedure information and patient resources were integrated seamlessly into the design, ensuring that users feel informed and supported as they move through the site. Rather than pushing users toward action, the experience builds reassurance first, allowing enquiries to happen more naturally.

Visually, the site avoids trends and unnecessary complexity. Instead, it focuses on timeless design principles that will remain effective over time. High-quality imagery, subtle layout choices and a consistent visual system all work together to create a cohesive, polished experience that reflects the professionalism of the clinic.

 

The tech stack

The website was custom designed and built on WordPress, giving Panthea Clinics a flexible and scalable platform to manage their content. The bespoke build ensures the design is not constrained by templates, allowing us to tailor every aspect of the experience to the needs of the clinic and its patients. It communicates Panthea Clinics’ expertise clearly, while also creating a sense of ease for users navigating what can often be a complex and emotional decision-making process. Importantly, the site does not rely on aggressive sales tactics. Instead, it builds trust progressively, allowing users to move from initial curiosity to genuine confidence. This approach aligns closely with how patients make decisions in this space, making the experience both effective and appropriate.

The website now acts as a true extension of the Panthea Clinics brand. It not only reflects the quality of their work, but also supports their ongoing growth by attracting, educating and converting the right audience.

What we loved

We loved the balance this project achieves between medical credibility and approachability. The design feels refined and professional, yet still warm and human. That balance is difficult to get right, and it plays a big role in making the experience feel trustworthy.  Nothing feels overworked or unnecessary. The clarity, spacing and structure allow the content to breathe, creating a calm and confident user experience that aligns perfectly with the nature of the service.

What they loved
