Jimmyweb designed and developed the website for MC Presents, a Melbourne-based communication and presentation training business led by Mark Carter and Beza Mickan-White, delivering workshops, coaching, and ongoing programs designed to help professionals connect, influence, and present with confidence. The site, a tailor-made WordPress build, uses bold, confident typography and a clean, well-paced layout to translate the energy of live MC Presents sessions into a digital experience, with a clear structure that lets users quickly self-identify and find the program that fits them.

Mark and Beza returned to Jimmyweb to create this site after we launched Mark’s other website: Mark Carter. This ongoing partnership reflects the confidence they have in Jimmyweb, our design approach, and the results delivered.
MC Presents needed a website that could capture what is typically experienced in a live environment. Their in-person sessions are high energy, engaging and transformative, but translating that into a digital format is not straightforward. The risk was ending up with something that felt flat or overly corporate, which would misrepresent the brand.
Clarity was another key challenge. The business offers a range of programs across different audience types, from individuals to corporate teams. The existing structure made it difficult for users to quickly understand where they fit or what the next step should be. For a service built on momentum and engagement, any confusion in the user journey creates friction.
There was also a broader positioning shift. MC Presents is not just a training provider. It is building an ecosystem that includes workshops, ongoing sessions and academy-style learning. The new website needed to support this direction while remaining simple, intuitive and commercially effective.
What we did
We approached the project by focusing on energy and structure in equal measure. The goal was to create a site that feels dynamic and engaging, while still guiding users clearly through the content. This meant leaning into bold, confident typography and pairing it with a clean, well-paced layout.
The messaging was brought to the forefront. Rather than relying on heavy visual elements, the design uses strong headings and clear language to communicate key ideas quickly. This creates rhythm across the page and helps users scan and engage with the content without feeling overwhelmed.
From a UX perspective, we structured the site to support self-identification. Users can quickly see who the programs are for and how they apply to them. Services are clearly segmented, and the flow moves naturally from introduction through to validation and action. Testimonials and proof points are integrated throughout the journey, reinforcing credibility at the right moments.
Visually, the site strikes a balance between personality and control. It feels modern and alive, without becoming chaotic. Spacing, contrast and repetition are used deliberately to maintain consistency and create a cohesive experience across all pages.
